The black led cast film was shot at Arborfield Studios. The film will be produced by singer, song writer John Legend and directed by David E. Talbert. A Christmas musical is about an inventor (Whitaker) who struggles to get his new invention to work in time for his granddaughter who comes to stay for Christmas.
Alicya Sinclair lends her skills to create some of the principles costumes including suits, waistcoats and trousers. Designed and created by Costume Designer, Michael Wilkinson, Alicya said “His vision to create checks and stripes using paintwork and cord was beautiful – the designs and use of a mix of fabrics and trims is what brought each design look to life.”
Cast also includes Keegan-Michael Key, who stars in the upcoming remake of The Lion King alongside Hugh Bonneville from Downton.
Jingle Jangle is set to launch on Netflix on 13th November 2020.
